100 sales!

The other day I reached 100 sales in my little Etsy shop – yay!

It seemed a long time coming but considering my aim was to reach 100 sales in the first year, I must admit I am pretty happy. Recently though, I have been neglecting it a little with no new items appearing at all. Hopefully this will inspire me to bring some new ideas to life, like this one:

Over a year ago, I bought a crochet pattern for sushi and made the pieces in this blog’s header for my dear friend. It has been my plan for a while to make my own knit pattern for sushi, because it is so cute! But of course, I could not sell using someone else’s pattern. Now this is finally happening.

P.S. I recently started using bloglovin’ due to a few issues with google reader, and it is so easy to navigate and find new blogs. Love it!
And if you don’t already, please follow my blog with bloglovin ^_^

  1. It’s very cute. Would you say it’s easier to start with learning knitting or crocheting?

    • Thanks Natasha!

Well, I learnt to knit years ago so cannot really remember the process..but taught myself to crochet just last year. Although I love knitting a bit (lot) more, crochet is probably quicker to learn. You can make something cute pretty soon which is more fun for a beginner.

I definitely recommend using YouTube videos and amigirumi as a starting point :)

  2. Congrats ! I already follow you on Bloglovin :)
